About Mended Hearts...
Mended Hearts is a national nonprofit organization affiliated with the American Heart Association. Its purpose is to offer the gift of hope to heart diease patients, their families and caregivers. Recognized for its role in facilitating a positive patient-care experience, Mended Hearts partners with 460 hospitals and rehabilitation clinics and offers services to heart patients through visiting programs, support group meetings and educational forums. Our mission is to "inspire hope in heart disease patients and their families."
Mended Hearts, Diablo Chapter 254 holds monthly meetings at Kaiser Walnut Creek, Walnut Creek, CA. The meetings provide support and education for people who have had heart surgery, their spouses, family members, relatives, medical professionals, and others who are interested in the purpose of Mended Hearts. click here for more information

You can become a "Visitor" The Mended Hearts organization is a support group for people after they have had heart problems. One of the ways this happens is through meetings where you get to meet and socialize with others who have experienced some kind of heart event. If interested, please let one of the Board members of Chapter 254 know.
